There is a house sushi roll at our local Lehi, Utah Tsunami Sushi
called the “Sneaky Spouse”. It’s amazing and you can’t find it on the menu but you can ask for it. Well, I have plenty clients that are the sneaky spouse tooMany Botox clients will pay for their treatment in cash because they don’t want their spouse to know. This Brotox overview is to help all the men in Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs and Lehi know more about botox treatments for men. Most likely, they’ll become sneaky too.
Brotox is Botox for men. Social media is buzzing with #Brotox posts. Men are realizing what all the craze has been with women for 20+ years.
How does Brotox work?
Botox works by blocking nerve signals in the muscles where it is injected. The injected muscles relax and prevents them from contracting. This results in a temporary reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines for men. It “freezes” the area. Botox injections for men are commonly used to treat men’s: crow’s feet, frown lines, bunny nose, forehead wrinkles and many other facial lines and creases.
What are benefits of men getting Botox?
Cosmetic Benefits:
– Reduction of Wrinkles: Botox injections are primarily known for their ability to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on men’s face. It is particularly effective for treating dynamic wrinkles, which are caused by repetitive facial muscle movements, such as frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines.
– Non-invasive Treatment: Botox is a non-surgical and minimally invasive procedure, making it a popular choice for many men in Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs and Lehi seeking to enhance their appearance without major surgical procedure.
– Quick Procedure: Botox injections can typically be administered in a short amount of time, often during a quick office visit, with minimal downtime or recovery period. Needles, yes. Snipping, no.
Medical Benefits:
– Chronic Migraine Relief: Botox has been found to be effective in the treatment of chronic migraines for men. Botox is injected into specific areas of the head and neck, such as the forehead, temples, back of the head, and neck muscles. The injections are administered approximately every 12 weeks. The precise mechanism by which Botox helps with chronic migraines is not fully understood, but it is believed to involve the inhibition of the release of certain neurotransmitters involved in pain signaling. Botox for men may also have a muscle-relaxing effect that can help reduce the frequency and severity of migraines. The treatment with Botox for chronic migraines in men is typically recommended for men who experience migraines on 15 or more days per month, with each headache lasting four hours or longer. Clinical studies have shown that Botox treatment can lead to a reduction in the frequency and intensity of migraines, offering relief for individuals suffering from this debilitating condition. Botox has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of chronic migraines in adult males. At Angie’s Injections, we do not provide migraine relief treatments.
– Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis): Botox can help with hyperhidrosis, a medical condition characterized by excessive sweating. When used to treat hyperhidrosis, Botox is injected into the man’s affected area, typically the underarms, palms of the hands, or soles of the feet. The botulinum toxin in Botox works by blocking the release of the chemical acetylcholine, which stimulates the sweat glands which then reduces excessive sweating. The injections temporarily block the man’s nerve signals that stimulate sweat production in the treated area, leading to a significant reduction in sweat production. The effects typically last for several months before the nerve signals gradually regenerate, at which point additional injections may be necessary to maintain the reduction in sweating. Botox treatment for men’s hyperhidrosis is considered an effective and minimally invasive option for men who experience excessive sweating and have not found relief from other treatments, such as prescription antiperspirants or oral medications. At Angie’s Injections, we do not provide excessive sweating treatments.
Does brotox wear off in Men? Just like women, the results from Botox last anywhere between 2-6 months; the average result lasts about 3-4 months. After three to six months, men’s bodies start producing new neurotransmitters that override the botulinum toxin, allowing men’s muscles to contract and move around again. Men using Botox for a long period of time may actually help condition men’s muscles which requires less units of Botox in the future. This is one of the main reasons it is recommend that men get Botox when they are younger – the effects last longer as well. While most men can’t get a permanent overhaul to their appearance with prolonged Brotox use, they can use it to delay the effects of aging. Brotox treatments are preventative too because of the muscle conditioning men can develop the longer they get treated with Botox.
How long does it take for Botox in men take effect? Many men see the effects of treatment within a few days. The area will begin looking smoother and more refreshed after just 5 to 7 days. The full effect of men’s injections will be seen between 10 and 14 days.
Is Botox treatment for a man different than a woman?
When it comes to the areas being treated, no. Men usually do require more units than females due to greater muscle mass.
How old do you need to be to consider Brotox?
Botox is approved for men 18 and older, but that doesn’t mean men should be getting it at that age. Collagen starts declining around 25 years of age, so men’s skin should be fairly resilient and wrinkles not noticeable.
I do sales in Silicon Slopes, how do spas price Brotox for men?
Depends on the spa. If you’re wanting the fancy building and feel more ritzy, you’ll pay a higher price per unit. Some spas do pricing by the area but most are by the unit. Other factors that impact the cost for men to get botox are: location of the spa (Salt Lake City has some expensive spots due to higher overhead/rent), experience of the injector, other services offered at the spa (many have really expensive equipment for different treatments), etc. Some spas that do botox in Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs and Lehi will also offer monthly memberships that can help save on the price per unit. Gotta get that recurring revenue just like in the SaaS world!
